I am really happy it’s Friday because this past week has been one heck of a week. The beginning started off really sweet. Since Brandon and I will be traveling to Rochester today for the weekend, he sent flowers to my office Monday so I could enjoy them the whole week because I won’t be there today.
This is my favorite outfit this week. I just got this new maxi skirt at Forever 21 and I just could not wait until the spring to wear it. Mind you, I had tights on underneath the skirt, and I wore a wool blazer (from J Crew), with the long sleeve shirt I made. I have decided to ignore the single digit weather we’ve been having in upstate New York and just think spring.
So although the area where I live experienced another dumping of snow, I will still choose to take a step back and enjoy Valentines Day with my husband and his family. (We haven’t seen them since the fall) Today we will be traveling so we celebrated our Valentines Day dessert last night with cute mugs my mom gave us last year, and fresh raspberries with ice cream. Yum.
