Last weekend we got a surprise visit from the 2 of the former homeowners of our house who live out of town. Since the closing date, we have kept in contact with them, and they were in the area for a family get together and decided to drop in. It was the first time they had seen the house since we started our renovations, and we had the opportunity to give them a “tour”. It was so lovely chatting with them, hearing stories about the house they grew up in, and some of the memories they shared. They left us with some beautiful flowers (which I can’t wait to plant) and a few old photos of the house and the property that we will cherish. Below are the rest of this week’s highlights.
