This time of year cozy sweaters are a must have for me, and lately this Aztec pattern sweater has been my go-to. Over the weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time in Chicago with Brandon and one of my closest friends, coincidentally also named Maggie. My flight was booked for 6AM Eastern time, so I had to wake up at 3AM in order to get myself ready and to the airport in time to catch my flight. (Brandon was already in Chicago for the past week on business). Choosing an outfit to wear on an airplane is tricky because you want to be comfortable, but you also don’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed- especially for such an early flight. I settled on wearing my favorite black leggings, with a loose fitting tank, and my new Aztec sweater. I felt put together and extremely comfortable; a win-win!
The best part of this outfit was that I didn’t need to change as soon as I arrived in Chicago. The flight was just over an hour, so when I landed I was immediately ready to tackle the windy city as soon as Maggie picked me up.
I purchased this Aztec sweater at Marshall’s, but the brand is by Harvé Benard. You can also find similar sweaters here, here, or here. My boots are Ralph Lauren purchased at Macy’s last year, but you can purchase them here!
I’d love to know, what do you wear when you travel??
