I cannot wait for this summer. Brandon and I finally planned our vacation! It will be the first vacation we are taking together since our honeymoon to Paris almost 3 years ago. Wanna know where we are going? OK, OK, I’ll tell you! This summer we are flying to Seattle, (a bucket list city for me) renting a convertible and taking our sweet old time road tripping to Portland, then down highway 1 to San Francisco. Can you believe it?? Ahh!!

So, naturally, what does a girl do when she finds out she’s going to California? She goes shopping for new clothes. (I really had no other choice) I lugged my pile of possibilities into the fitting room to try on and *bam* these boyfriend jeans and I connected right there in the mirror. I wasn’t even looking for boyfriend jeans, they were looking for me.These magical jeans are a button fly waist with the softest cotton material, the perfect length with 2 ankle folds and flawless distressing. The best part about these jeans? I’m not even ashamed to admit they were from a consignment shop and they cost me $10! (The brand they are is Express).

It’s so funny how a simple pair of jeans can make me get so excited the way these jeans do. I feel giddy at the thought of me in these jeans with my feet up in the passenger seat riding along the coast listening to Jason Mraz with my love.

Has a piece of clothing or accessory ever made you feel like that, or am I the only crazy one who’s had that happen?
