Well I don’t know it it’s a great idea or a crazy idea but yesterday I added one more thing to my already packed schedule. I registered to take a digital photography class at one of the local community colleges. I have been wanting to do this for like, two years now but always had some excuse to back out last minute (fear, lack of time, lack of money etc.) I almost backed out again, but after an in-depth discussion with my good friend Hayley, I called the school, registered and paid for the class over the phone right there in the middle of our discussion.
I know it seems like a small thing, but I was really grateful to have my friend there to support me in my time of self-doubt. This class is a big deal to me, and I want to succeed- but going back to college scares me a little. Will I be able to balance my two jobs? Can I still keep up with my blog? Am I wasting my money? What if I fail?
It makes me stop and realize that people go through things like this all the time, but with even bigger decisions to worry about. This is just a class, not life or death. I can handle this. Plus, it’s too late to get my money back. There’s no backing out now!
