I’ve been on the hunt for some nourishing face products, more specifically for under the eyes. My under eye area tends to get pretty dry, and the makeup and beauty products I had been using just weren’t working well at all. Even worse, they would do the opposite of what I was trying to achieve- and make the dryness worse! So after a couple of trips to Sephora, and consulting with some of their amazing beauty advisers, I brought home some different samples to try. The beauty products in Sephora are expensive but what I love about them is that you don’t need make a commitment to buy something then and there. You can sample the products first, and then decide if you want to go back and purchase it. That really helps an indecisive person like me, who also gets severe buyers remorse. So I narrowed it down to this handful of products that I’ve been testing out the past week or so.
1) PERRICONE MD Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum– it’s formulated to tighten and firm the eye area, in addition it also works well as an eye primer. It does cost a pretty penny, so if I were to repurchase this, it would be a big investment for me.
2) NARS Tinted Moisturizer, with SPF 30– I use the bareMinerals Original foundation on a daily basis, but for the summer I’m looking for something with lightweight coverage. The beauty adviser at Sephora suggested I try this NARS tinted moisturizer, (which is a brand I have never tried before) and so far I have really been liking how it makes my face look and feel.
3) bareMinerals MINERALIXIRS Eye Nourishing Oil Balm– Even though I use bareMinerals foundation, I never thought to try their other face products. So far, I have been blown away by the results of this oil. It really is a nourishing product, and since using this I have seen a lot less dryness in my under eye area.
4) BECCA Ultimate Coverage Concealing Crème
and
5) BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector
Both of these are completely new products to me as I only recently just learned about the BECCA brand. So far, I really like how creamy the concealer is, and when paired with the under eye brightening corrector, it really does brighten my under eye area. I haven’t tried brightening corrector with my regular concealer yet, so if I like how it works with that then I may just purchase the brightener and not the concealer. We shall see!
I will keep you up to date and let you know which full size products of these samples I end up purchasing. Let me know in the comments if there is a product that you are loving now that you think I should try!
