I recently read a fun blog post by a friend and fellow blogger Regan Carter called Ten Things- (She was featured on my post Some Great Blogs to Check Out.) I thought it was so interesting to read, and immediately wanted to post one on my site about me. So, here are Ten Things you may not know about me:
1. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I could eat breakfast food all day- in fact at our wedding we even served breakfast food as the main meal (pancakes and omelets). Also, pretty much everyday, I mix at least two different types of cereal together.
2. I love coffee, and appreciate it taken many different ways. With breakfast, I drink it black, but with dessert I take it with milk. The best cup of coffee I ever had in my life was on my honeymoon in Paris.
3. I am number five of seven children. Yes, I have five sisters (three are older, two are younger) and one brother who is older.
4. My favorite car ever is the Mini Cooper and I’ve been driving one for over three years now. It’s red with a white top, has a sunroof and standard transmission. My husband is my mechanic- he rebuilt my engine this summer after some mechanical issues. It doesn’t have a name, but I call it my Avatar.
5. I have never dyed my hair or chemically styled it.
6. I have been to ten different countries (not including the US) and counting!
7. I have kept a personal journal since I was in middle school and I have each one saved. Writing has always been therapeutic to me, and helps me process my thoughts when I am confused, upset and emotional
8. The only bone I’ve ever broken was my nose- five days before senior prom!
9. I have been a Christian my whole life, but only recently I have started reading the Bible on my own consistently instead of just on a Sunday morning in church. I have found it really rewarding.
10. My husband is my favorite person on this planet. I love him so much. We met in college, became the best of friends, started dating after I graduated, and we are still the best of friends. We have so much fun together everyday. No one makes me laugh harder or makes me feel as beautiful as he does. I cannot imagine what my life would be without him.
