Meet Matt and Kristen. I recently had the pleasure of helping them find their dream home right around the corner from both their parents in an adorable little neighborhood. We started their house hunt with a list of criteria and an open mind as we looked at many different types of properties together. Their top priorities were to have a large garage with a nice yard for entertaining, and the overall word I kept hearing throughout our search was the desire for a house with good “charm” and “character”.
What made this particular home buying experience unique was that all three of us were new to the process. When we started the search, I was still relatively new in real estate and yet they trusted me to help them find their home. One of the best parts about this story is that the couple who sold this house were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They had left a lot of really thoughtful things behind like cleaning supplies, scented candles, flowers and even champagne in the fridge!
