Winter Beauty Favorites

If you live in the upper portion of the East Coast than you know it’s been a looooong cold winter. It seems like the weather has been so much colder this season, and my skin feels like it has taken a beating. Luckily, I’ve have a few great new beauty products that have helped me get through the cold.

Mascara

BeforeAfter
L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara
– If you have read my post on some popular mascaras then you know how difficult it is for me to find one that works for my baby fine lashes. So you can imagine my surprise when I opened the package up and applied this to my lashes that it works so well. As I use this, it feels like the wand is grabbing each individual lash and sweeping the mascara up over them. I really like how the bristles are hard and wand is so precise, plus it’s easy to wash up. I give this two thumbs up.

Lush
LUSH Sandstone Soap
– With the cold weather brings dry skin, and this soap is uh-mazing at scrubbing away dead skin leaving me feeling polished and crisp. I know this is probably a beauty faux pas but I sometimes use this on my face to lightly exfoliate. After I rinse, my face feels so fresh and so clean clean!

cream
Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Night Cream– If you know anything about me, I like good quality things, but I don’t like to spend a lot of money. There are a lot of night creams out there that you could spend a fortune on, but frankly I just don’t have the money to. I was in desperate need for a new face cream. (My last one by Aveeno was empty that I had unscrewed the top of it and was using what was left as a wand to put lotion on my face. Pathetic, I know.) So as I as searching in my local drug store for a new face cream I noticed that Neutrogena has a new naturals line which promises “no harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes or phthalates.” Right up my alley. I’ve been using this for about a month now, and I really like the way it makes my face feel. I’m excited to try other products in this line.

Please tell me! What are some of your winter beauty favorites??

(Thanks again Robyn for taking photos of my face!)
