Mondays are typically my craziest day in terms of the admin side of my business. This week in particular, I have a property going on the market. I need to coordinate all the details of the paperwork, staging, photos, marketing and signage. In addition, tend to have a ton of emails, texts and phone calls to follow up on. Basically, Mondays are boring, but they are busy.
I don’t know about you, but last week felt a little off for me. Because last Monday was Labor Day, it felt like a Sunday to me, so Tuesday felt like a Monday to me. The rest of the week was a blur, but it still had some amazing wins to celebrate.
The photo above is my cousin Michelle and I with our doggos at the peak of Phelps Mountain in the Adirondacks. This is my favorite win of the week. There’s something about the trails of a mountain, no cell service, rich conversation and the accomplishment of making it to the top that fuels my soul.
Speaking of Monday, Brandon and I had a family get together on Labor Day. My parents, some of my mom’s cousins and Brandon’s mom & husband came over for a visit. We spent most of the afternoon cruising on the Mohawk River exploring the locks. It was the first time my parents had come over since the pandemic shut everything down.
This might look like an empty room, but soon it will be my client’s kitchen. We went to contract this week on a flip, renovated by a builder. The cabinets, countertop and appliances have been ordered. Inspection is scheduled for next week!
While riding my bike in my neighborhood with Rosie, I found this exercise step on the side of the road in front of a house. Thankfully it was still there when I drove back to pick it up afterward. Now I have a bench to do more exercises at home and I don’t have to use my ottoman anymore!
Rosie and her “uncle” Sonny played together on Friday. (Sonny is younger than Rosie, but his mom is Rosie’s grandmother). Watching 2 poodles run, chase and wrestle each other is pretty much the cutest thing ever. It’s difficult to see, but they even have the same harness!
Despite the fact that my legs are now Jell-O from the aftermath of hiking, I’m going to waddle my way into the kitchen for some breakfast and start my week.
Happy Monday!
